No. 7 UC Irvine will hit the road for its final regular season road trip Friday (Apr. 4) taking on UC San Diego at 7:00 p.m. in the RIMAC Arena.
UCI will close out the regular season, hosting No. 4 Stanford Friday (Apr.11) and Pacific Saturday (Apr. 12). Both matches begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Bren Center.
UCI has won seven of its last eight matches and is 16-9 overall and 13-8 in the MPSF.

UCI holds a 37-7 lead over the Tritons with the Anteaters winning the last six outings.
UCSD is 2-21 overall and 1-20 in the MPSF.
In the first meeting with the Tritons, Jeremy Dejno had a match-high 15 kills, while hitting .667 (15-2-21). The outside hitter also recorded a career-high five block assists. Zack La Cavera added nine kills and a match-high seven digs. Middle blockers had a good night as Collin Mehring hit .714 (5-0-7) and had five total blocks and Scott Kevorken hit .667 (6-0-9) with three aces and four blocks. UCSD was led by Mike Brunsting with nine kills, six digs and two solo blocks. Nick Iorfino recorded five digs and Garrett Dempsey had 19 set assists.
Last week, UCI beat Cal State Northridge 3-1, then swept then-No. 4 Long Beach State, 3-0.
The Anteaters fired nine aces and out-dug the Matadors, 51-38. Both the ace and dig totals were the second most this season for UCI.
Zack La Cavera and Jeremy Dejno carried the offensive load for UCI as La Cavera tied his career with 19 kills and Dejno recorded 14 kills and hit .480 (14-2-25). Dejno recorded three aces and also tied his career-high with 10 digs. Setter Roberto Frazzoni had 43 set assists, two aces and a career-high 14 digs.
Against the Forty-Niners, Connor Hughes tied his career-high with 19 kills and hit (19-1-37). The outside hitter also added seven digs and an ace. Setter Daniel Stork guide the Anteaters with 38 set assists, two aces and tied his career-high with 12 digs.
Libero Michael Brinkley put on a digging clinic last week, scooping up 14 digs against Cal State Northridge and 18 in three sets versus Long Beach State. The 18 digs tied his season-high and was two shy of his career-high. Brinkley has 233 digs this season which ranks eighth on the UCI single season list and is second all-time in UCI digs with 736.
Opposite Zack La Cavera leads the team with a 3.55 kill average. Nationally, the junior ranks 11th in aces (0.39) and 17th in points (4.29).
As a team, UCI ranks sixth in the country in aces (1.43) and 10th in hitting percentage (.298) and in kills (13.16).
