SAN DIEGO, Calif. --- UCI men's tennis dropped the first leg of its San Diego Saturday with a 6-1 defeat at the hands of USD Saturday afternoon.

USD (2-2) came through in No. 3 doubles, 8-6, to come away with the doubles point after the squads split at 1 and 2.

Tyler Pham produced the lone singles point for the 'Eaters coming from behind to defeat Filip Vittek in three sets, 4-6, 7-5, (10-4).

UCI (1-7) finishes up in San Diego tonight playing at Division II UCSD at 6:00 p.m.
