UC Irvine Starts Season Ranked No. 8 Nationally

UC Irvine was ranked eighth in the AVCA Division I-II Men's Coaches Top 15 Preseason Poll.
The Anteaters were 18-11 in 2014 and ended the year ranked No. 6.
UCI returns All-American libero Michael Brinkley as well as a solid core of hitters at the pins with Zack La Cavera, Kyle Russell and Tamir Hershko.
Pacific transfers Thomas Hodges and Marty Ross will join the Anteaters this year and complement the returnees.
The Anteaters open the 2015 season hosting Lewis on Jan. 5 at 7:00 p.m. in the Bren Events Center.
