IRVINE, Calif. --- UC Irvine has been selected to participate in the 2015 DIRECTV Wooden Legacy that will be played in Orange County Nov. 26, 27 and 29, 2015.

The announcement was made Thursday morning by ESPN Events, a subsidiary of ESPN.

The Anteaters will be part of a strong field that includes Arizona, Boise State, Boston College, Evansville, Michigan State, Providence and Santa Clara.

Pairings and game times will be announced in late July or early August.

The first two days of the tournament will be played at Cal State Fullerton with the final day of competition at the Honda Center in Anaheim.

UCI participated in the inaugural event, previously known as the Anaheim Classic, in 2007.
