Isaiah Thompson Leads 'Eaters at NCAA Regional

STANFORD, Calif. --- Sophomore Isaiah Thompson led UC Irvine in the NCAA West Regional at the Stanford Golf Course Friday.
Thompson finished 75th with a time of 31:01.0 over 10,000 meters as was the Anteaters' top runner for the third meet this season.
Alex Tebbe was 95th in 31:20.4, Blake Wanser 149th (32:32.7), Nolan Del Valle 168th (32:55.0) and Jake Williams 175th (33:16.1).
Maxim Korolev from Stanford won the race in 29:33.5.
Oregon was first in the team competition with 60 points, Portland second with 71 and Stanford third with 97. UCI finished 23rd with 652 points as the 'Eaters' season concluded.
