'Eaters Return to Action Saturday at Vanguard Invitational

IRVINE, Calif. --- The UC Irvine men's cross country team remains local Saturday for the 25th Vanguard Invitational at Fairview Park in Costa Mesa.
The men's 8,000-meter race is scheduled to begin at 9:45 a.m.
UCI's last competition was Sept. 27 at the Stanford Invitational, where the 'Eaters finished 11th. Senior Alex Tebbe was the team's top runner, placing 11th in the field of NCAA Division I competitors.
Following Saturday's action, UCI's next competition will be the Highlander Invitational Oct. 18 on the UC Riverside Agricultural Operations Course.
