UC Irvine Competes at Big West Championship Saturday

2014 Big West Conference Cross Country Championship
IRVINE, Calif. --- UC Irvine competes in the 2014 Big West Conference Championship at Riverside Saturday with the men's 8,000-meter race scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. on the UCR Agricultural Operations Course.
The 'Eaters placed fifth in last year's league meet at San Luis Obispo. Isaiah Thompson was UCI's top runner at the 2013 meet, placing 13th and earning Big West Freshman of the Year honors.

$5 per person.
Children age 3 and under are free.
DIRECTIONS
To Course:
91 freeway east to the 60 / 215 Fwy (to Indio) South.
Martin Luther King exit and turn right (west) onto Martin Luther King.
Proceed to Canyon Crest Drive and turn left (south) onto Canyon Crest Drive.
Take Canyon Crest Drive one-half mile to the Agricultural Operations gate on right-hand side.
To Parking:
Event parking is in Lot 30 (northwest corner of Canyon Crest and Martin Luther King).
Martin Luther King exit and turn right.
Proceed through traffic signal and turn right into Lot 30.
