UC Irvine Closes Out Fall Schedule With 10th Place Finish At Rainbow Wahine Invitational

Schofield Barracks, O'ahu, HI -- UC Irvine wrapped up the fall schedule with a ninth place finish at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational at the Leilehua Golf Course.
UC Irvine ended the two-day tournament with a score of 932 (301-313-318) tying Weber State and Wichita State for the 10th spot..
Vanderbilt captured the tournament title with an even par 862 (288-286-288) Vanderbilt's Cindy Ha fired rounds of 69 and 68 to end the tournament to claim medalist honors with a score of 210 (73-69-68). followed by teammate Kendall Martindale at 212.
For the second time during the fall schedule, sophomore Samantha Chan was the top Anteater with a 26th place finish and a three-round score of 230 (75-78-77). Sophomore Kaley In finished in a tie for 34th with a score of 232 (74-79-79), while freshman Joo Youn Seo was tied for 39th with a 54-hole total of. 233 (74-78-81). Junior Kristin Henno was tied for 51st at 237 (78-78-81) and freshman Kelsey Kawaguchi was tied for 67th at (84-79-82).
The Anteaters return to action on Feb. 9-10 at the Gold Rush Invitational at the Old Ranch Country Club.
