UC Irvine will travel to the Rainbow Wahine Invitational Wednesday, Oct. 22-23 at the Leilehua Golf Course in Schofield Barracks, O'ahu.
The tournament was originally scheduled to be a three day event but due to wet weather, teams will play 36 holes on Wednesday and finish with 18 holes on Thursday.
Each day begins with a 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
The 14-team tournament features Alabama State, Boise State, Brigham Young, Cal State Fullerton, Grand Canyon, UH-Hilo, Nebraska, Sacramento State, Utah Valley, Vanderbilt, Weber State, Wichita State and host Rainbow Wahine.
The Leilehua Golf Course plays at par-72 and 6,228-yards.
Kaley In, Kristin Henno, Samantha Chan, Kelsey Kawaguchi, and Joo Youn Seo will play for UCI.
This is the final fall tournament for UCI.
The Anteaters finished fifth (904) at the 2012 event.
Head coach Julie Brooks is a Hawaii native, graduating from Punahou High School. Brooks served as an assistant coach at Hawaii 2004-06.
IN THE CLUBHOUSE
UCI had a three-round total of 976 (318-344-314) and finished 15th at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational last week.
Sophomore Kaley In produced her second consecutive top 20 finish, placing 19th with a 54-hole score of 228 (71-84-73). She recorded 37 Pars which was third best among tournament participants.
In leads the Anteaters in scoring average at 76.17 followed by freshman Joo Youn Seo with a 78.76 mark over six rounds.
