PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. --- Franziska Goettsching and Sarah Gong competed over the weekend in the 2013 Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships in Pacific Palisades, Calif. representing UC Irvine.

In pre-qualifying doubles on Saturday, the pair ousted Maria Caredenas and Despoina Vogasari of the University of Houston with an 8-4 victory.

The duo faced conference rivals Karolina Rosenberg/Ebba Unden of Long Beach State on Sunday before falling 8-2.

Goettsching, Gong, and the rest of the 'Eaters are back on the court beginning Fri., Oct. 4 in the Long Beach Fall Tournament on the campus of LBSU. Draws will be announced later in the week.
