Mustang Challenge Information

IRVINE, Calif. --- The UC Irvine women's cross country team travels to Santa Clarita Saturday for The Mustang Challenge, hosted by The Master's College.

The 5,000-meter race starts at 8:15 a.m. at Central Park (27200 Bouquet Canyon Road, Santa Clarita).

This will be the Anteaters' first competition since the season-opening adidas/UCI Invitational Sept. 7 at the Anteater Recreation Center Fields.)

UCI finished fourth in that meet and junior Kaycee Holcomb placed sixth of 134 runners with a time of 18:39.9 over 5,000 meters.

Holcomb earned Big West Conference Athlete of the Week honors for that performance.
