La VERNE, Calif. --- Fifteen different UC Irvine players scored in the Anteaters' 24-3 win over host La Verne in the Inland Empire Classic at the Las Flores Pool Saturday morning.

Jacob Mourer, Blake Terry and Chris Swieca scored three goals apiece while Alan Robertson, Mitch Wise and Tyler Mancuso notched a pair each for the ninth-ranked 'Eaters, who improved to 5-0 on the season.

Alex Kazmier played the first half in goal and recorded five saves while Dylan Peterson played the second half and registered four stops.

Bryan Jiminez led the Leopards with two goals.

UCI, which led 10-2 at the half, outscored  La Verne, 14-1, in the final two quarters.

The 'Eaters face California Baptist later today.
