IRVINE, Calif. --- Randall McDermott joins the UCI soccer family following his three-sport high school career.

McDermott is a defender out of Palmdale, Calif. and Knight High School. The honor roll student has had his hands full his entire life being the middle of five children and balancing three sports in high school. McDermott was a four-year letter-winner in swim and soccer in addition to playing some football.

On the pitch, he led Knight HS to back-to-back league titles and was also named the league player of the year and All-CIF first team. The Palmdale native was a part of Real So Cal Academy in the club ranks.
