IRVINE, Calif.--- A standout weekend against Cal Poly has netted a third honor for sophomore Taylor Sparks, who was voted a CB360 Primetime Performer this week.

Sparks batted .538 against the Mustangs, boasting a 1.077 slugging percentage and 14 total bases. The current Big West leader in slugging (.594) RBI (44) and total bases with 117, the third baseman hit for the series cycle, blasting his ninth home run and two doubles while driving in four runs. He was 3-for-5 in the series opener, posting a round-tripper and team-leading fourth triple. Saturday he added an RBI double and finished the series by batting 3 for 5 with an RBI and a run scored.

Sparks and the Anteaters open the series against Cal State Fullerton tonight at 8:00 p.m. in an ESPNU-televised game.
