NORTHRIDGE, Calif. --- UC Irvine senior Nick Jennings finished third in the pole vault with a mark of 16-5 ½ at the Big West Conference Championships in Northridge Friday.

Stephen Brown placed sixth at 15-11 ¾ in the competition at the Northridge Track & Field Complex.

Mason Miller recorded a fifth-place finish in the discus throw at 164-6.

Kyle Hubbard (55.14) and Mike Graf (55.49) qualified for Saturday's final in the 400-meter hurdles after Friday's prelims.

Jake Williams advanced to the final in the 800 meters with a time of 1:54.60 in Friday's qualifying.
