IRVINE, Calif. --- Senior Nick Jennings won the pole vault Sunday in the 19th annual adidas/Steve Scott Invitational at Anteater Stadium.

Jennings cleared a height of 16-6 ¾ to win the event while Stephen Brown was third at 15-7.

Riley Martin placed second of 64 runners in the 1500 meters with a time of 3:46.53.

Mason Miller's third-place mark of 57-0 in the shot put ranks No. 3 in Anteater history.  Trevor Lawrence finished ninth in the shot at 45-11 ¼.

Alex Campbell placed third in the high jump at 6-4 ¾ and Miller was fifth in the discus throw with a mark of 163-8.

Sam Hyams finished third of 52 competitors in the 800 meters with a career-best time of 1:51.48 and Amir Shirif was 10th in 1:54.30.

Matt Tyson was third in the 400 meters in 48.87 while Kyle Hubbard placed fifth in the 110-meter hurdles in 14.96 and Oliver Pham was seventh in 15.24. 

Hubbard recorded an eighth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles in 54.24.

UCI's 4x400 relay of Tyson, Julian Lujan, Hubbard and Cameron Vaca finished third with a time of 3:17.52.

Cal State Northridge hosts the Big West Conference Multi-Event Championships Friday and Saturday, with the Big West Championships, also hosted by Northridge, May 10-11.
