IRVINE, Calif. --- Weekend action began Saturday in the 19th annual adidas/Steve Scott Invitational at Anteater Stadium.
Sophomore Trevor Lawrence was the only UC Irvine male competitor Saturday and he made it count, as he finished ninth in the hammer throw with a mark of 168-7, the eighth-farthest throw in Anteater history.
The meet concludes on Sunday with track and field events beginning at 12:00 p.m.
