UC Irvine Competes in NCAA Regional at Sacramento

NCAA West Regional Information / Live Results
● UC Irvine competes in the NCAA West Regional Friday at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex in Sacramento.
● The women's 6,000-meter race is scheduled to start at 11:45 a.m. Thirty-seven schools will be represented in the regional from California, Oregon, Washington and Nevada.
● Scheduled to represent the Anteaters are Kaycee Holcomb, Makenna McGrann, Nicole Mendoza, Carlotta Pham, Marthie Ponty, Hannah Ruby and Alice Yang.
● The top two teams from each of the nine NCAA regionals will automatically advance to the NCAA Championships in Terre Haute, Ind., Nov. 23. The top four individuals from teams not advancing will also qualify for the national meet.
● UCI head coach Vince O'Boyle, in his 32nd year, is in his final season with the 'Eaters. He announced in September that he will be retiring, effective Dec. 31.
