IRVINE, Calif. --- UC Irvine junior Mitch Wise was named third team All-America for the second straight season by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches.

Wise scored 62 goals for the Anteaters this past season and ranked seventh in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation with a scoring average of 2.48 goals per game.

Wise, from Beaverton, Ore. (Southridge HS), has scored 162 goals in three seasons with UCI, which finished 14-12 overall this year.

Junior Bojan Hrlec, who led UCI with 63 goals in the 2012 season, earned All-America honorable mention recognition.  He was sixth in the MPSF with an average of 2.63 goals per game.

Hrlec, from Rijeka, Croatia, played two seasons at West Valley College prior to transferring to UCI.
