
Carson Clark Leads U.S. To Pan American Cup Gold Medal

IRVINE, Calif. – Recently graduated All-American Carson Clark led the U.S. Men's National Volleyball Team to a gold medal at the Pan American Cup in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
The U.S. went 5-0 in the tournament and defeated Argentina, 3-0 (29-27, 25-20, 25-11) to capture the gold. It is the fifth time the U.S. Men have won the tournament since it started in 2006.
Clark, an opposite, led all scorers with 19 points on a match-high 18 kills, hitting .517 and adding one ace. Former UC Irvine All-Americans Jordan DuFault and Ryan Ammerman played as substitutes. Middle blocker Dan McDonnell was also a member of the team.
