
Trio Named Volleyball Magazine All-America

IRVINE, Calif. -- Three UC Irvine men's volleyball players were honored as Volleyball Magazine All-Americans which was in released in the magazine's July issue.
Senior opposite Carson Clark and junior outside hitter Kevin Tillie were named to the Volleyball Magazine All-America first team, while senior middle blocker Dan McDonnell was selected to the Volleyball Magazine All-America third team.
Clark, a first team AVCA All-American, was named the Most Outstanding Player for both the NCAA and MPSF Championships. He ends his career as a four-time All-American and four-time All-MPSF first team honoree.
Tillie was third in the country in hitting percentage (.387) and garnered both first team AVCA All-America as well as All-MPSF accolades. He was named to the NCAA and MPSF All-Tournament teams.
McDonnell, who was a MPSF All-Tournament honoree, was named a second team All-MPSF selection.
John Speraw shared Coach of the Year honors with USC's Bill Ferguson.
