IRVINE, Calif. --- UC Irvine is hosting a Campus Celebration to honor the men's volleyball National Championship Tuesday (May 8) at 12:00 p.m. at the Anteater Stairs and Amphitheater located in the Student Center facing W. Peltason Drive.

Following a short program, those in attendance will have an opportunity to meet the athletes and obtain autographs and take photos.

UC Irvine defeated USC, 3-0 to capture the program's third national championship in the last six years. The Anteaters ended the year ranked No. 1 national with a 26-5 overall record and were led by first team All-American's Carson Clark and Kevin Tillie.  Clark was named the championship's Most Outstanding Player.

Parking is available at the Student Center Parking Structure, which is located at the intersection of West Peltason and Pereira Drives, just off of Campus Drive.
