D.J Crumlich named ESPN Zone Anteater of the week.
Senior Shortstop D.J Crumlich has been named the ESPN Zone Anteater of the Week for leading the Anteaters to a sweep of the Dartmouth Big Green last week. This was the first sweep of an opponent this season.
Crumlich hit .667 in the series, and was a home run away from hitting for the cycle in the series opener. He has now raised his batting average to .333 and has a team high eight doubles.
UC Irvine (14-8 overall) hosts USC March 28th at 6:30 p.m, then start their first conference series of the season, at home, against the Pacific Tigers. Friday?s game starts at 6:30 and first pitch for the Saturday and Sunday day games are at 1:00 p.m
