Carson Clark Named ESPN Zone Anteater of the Week

For the second week in a row Carson Clark, a senior men's volleyball player from Santa Barbara, has been named the ESPN Zone Anteater of the Week. Clark has been a major component of the Anteaters' nine-match winning streak and the team's No. 1 ranking.

Clark leads the nation in aces per set, and ranks 13th in kills per set. This is the latest of numerous awards the senior has received. This week Clark was named National Player of the Week after being named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Player of the Week last week.

Clark has also made his mark in the UC Irvine record books becoming the all-time kill leader with 1,712 over his career.

UC Irvine (18-3 overall, 14-3 MPSF) is off this week for final exams and will return to action March 30th as they host Clark's hometown school UC Santa Barbara at Crawford Court. First serve is at 7:00 p.m.
