IRVINE, Calif. --- The Anteaters were firing on all cylinders winning their fourth match in two days, 17-5, over the visiting Rams of Colorado State under the lights at Anteater Aquatics Complex.

UCI (16-5) struck quick with three goals in the first three minutes en route to a 4-1 lead after one.

The 'Eaters duplicated their first period with four more in the second all by Hannah Croghan (Yorba Linda / Rosary HS) and Kelsey Klatt (Fresno / Sunnyside HS) contributing two each for the 8-3 halftime lead.

UCI would control the third period with four more goals and shutting out the Rams (1-12, 0-2).

Annika Bergesen (West Jordan, Utah / Golden West College) had one of those four and added three more in the fourth period to lead the 'Eaters and finish the 17-5 victory.

UC Irvine will play one more match before Big West play begins as it hosts Harvard Sat. Mar. 17th for a 6:00 p.m. match.
