Irvine, Calif. -- UC Irvine men's basketball player Adam Folker has been named this week's ESPN Zone Anaheim Anteater of the Week.

The junior from Ontario, Canada had a killer game on Saturday helping the Anteaters capture a 94-85 victory in overtime against Cal State Northridge. The 6'9''center, who was 11 of 14 from the field, scored a career-high 28 points in addition to nine rebounds. With 4.1 seconds remaining in regulation play, Folker scored a layup to tie the game at 83-83. UC Irvine scored the first 11 points in overtime, seven of which were by Folker, and he tied his career high three steals.

Folker ranks sixth overall in the Big West for offensive rebounds, averaging 2.6 per game, and sixth overall for total rebounds with 178, averaging 6.4 per game.

The Eaters' will wrap up the regular season this week, traveling to Long Beach State Wednesday at 7:00pm and UC Riverside Saturday at 5:00pm.
