UC Irvine Concludes Fall Schedule

UCI closed the fall schedule with a fifth place performance at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational. The team shot a 54-hole total of 904 (305-297-302).
Senior Michelle Park led the team with a ninth place showing after carding a 223 (73-73-77).
Sophomore Michelle Yang (13th/226) and junior Ronnie Valerio (16th/227) each had Top 20 finishes in Hawaii.
The Anteaters had its best performance at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitaional placing fourth and beating three ranked teams.
In the fall, UCI also finished fifth twice and sixth once.
Senior Michelle Park leads the team in scoring average with a 74.22 mark. She had two Top 10 finishes this fall, including second place at the Edean Ihlanfeldt.
Park shot a second round of 70 at the Edean Invitational which was her lowest of the season and second best of the tournament. She was second among tournament participants in birdies (13) and Par 3 scoring (2.83, -2).
Everyone on the roster played in at least one tournament this fall with Michelle Park and Michelle Yang playing in all three invitationals.
The Anteaters resume action at the Long Beach State Gold Rush Feb. 10-12.
UCI will host the Anteater Invitational Feb. 25-26 at the Santa Ana Country Club.
