LA VERNE, Calif. --- Mitch Wise and Chris Swieca scored three goals apiece as fourth-ranked UC Irvine defeated Cal Lutheran, 14-6, in the Gary Troyer Tournament at the La Verne Aquatic Center Saturday.

Alan Robertson and Jacob Mourer added two goals each for the 'Eaters, who improved to 14-3 on the season.

UCI led 7-1 after the first quarter, 9-1 at halftime and extended the lead to 12-3 after three periods.

The 'Eaters open Mountain Pacific Sports Federation play at Pepperdine Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Malibu.
