Irvine, Calif. -- UC Irvine will face some familiar faces as they take on Quiksilver Friday (Sept. 30) at the Irvine International Volleyball Tournament presented by ST/COMP Quiksilver.

UCI will battle a Quiksilver team which features former Anteaters Jon Steller, Taylor Wilson, Ty Loomis and Paul Spittle at 3:00 p.m. in Crawford Court.

UCI finished third in Pool A with a 1-2 record, while Quiksilver went 0-3 in Pool B.

Argentina won Pool A with a 3-0 record and will face Korea (2-1) at 8:00 p.m. Brazil went undefeated in Pool B and will take on Japan (2-1) at 6:00 p.m. Beijing (0-3) and Shanghai (1-2) begin the day at 1:00 p.m.
