Anteaters Join Summer League Teams

IRVINE, Calif. --- Following the conclusion of the 2011 season, several of the UC Irvine Baseball players have joined their summer league teams.
Thirteen players will compete in various teams in the West Coast League, which encompasses the Pacific Northwest.
Ronnie Shaeffer and Andrew Thurman will compete in the Cape Cod League while Jordan Alexander and Tommy Reyes head to the Northwoods League. Justin Castro and Austin Walker will participate in the Hawaii League while Kyle Hooper and Matt Whitehouse travel to the East Coast to play in the New England Collegiate League.
