Fabrice Sene is in his second year as an assistant coach with the UC Irvine women's basketball program in 2025-26.
In his first season on staff, the Anteaters recorded 21 wins and finished second in the Big West (15-5). They advanced to the semifinals of the conference tournament. UCI closed out the year ranked fifth in the nation in field goal percentage defense (35.4%) and 10th in scoring defense (54.3 ppg).
Sene previously served as an assistant coach at UC Riverside from 2014-19. In his first year with the program, Sene recruited Michelle Curry, who was named the 2014-15 Big West Freshman of the Year. He also helped the Highlanders to the 2015-16 Big West regular season championship with an undefeated 16-0 record (23-9 overall). During Sene's tenure, 16 players received All-Big West recognition with four first-team selections.

Prior to his time in Riverside, Sene was a math teacher and girls' basketball coach at Marymount High School (2009-13) and Santa Monica High School (2006-09). He led both programs to multiple league championships and an appearance in the CIF playoffs. Sene graduated from the University of Orleans in France with a bachelor's and master's degree in mathematics.
