Jasmine Chen and
Katelyn Kong have been named to the 2024-25 WGCA All-American Scholar Team.

Overall, 1,499 women's collegiate golfers from 403 programs were recognized with this prestigious honor. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics as student-athletes must carry a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA and have played in 50% of the team's competitive rounds during the year.Â

Chen closed out her junior campaign with a 74.07 scoring average through 15 rounds. She had three top-20 finishes, including a career-best seventh-place showing at the GCU Invitational. Chen is majoring in international studies. This is her third career WGCA All-American Scholar award.

Kong played in every tournament as a true freshman. She led the Anteaters with a 73.15 scoring average, while recording five top-20 finishes. Kong carded an 18-hole career-best 68 in the final round of a seventh-place performance at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational. The All-Big West honorable mention selection also tied for 11th at the conference championship. Kong is majoring in psychology. Â
