IRVINE, Calif. – UC Irvine women's track & field has announced its indoor schedule for the upcoming 2026 campaign.
Â
The Anteaters' first two meets are in the state of Washington, while their next three, including the MPSF Championships, will be held in Reno, Nevada.
Â
"We're excited to open up our season in Spokane as it's a familiar place having hosted the MPSF Indoor Championship the past few years," UCI head coach
Jeff Perkins said. "This is a special group of ladies and this particular indoor season will allow us to develop in our run to an outdoor title defense."
Â
The 'Eaters kick off their 2026 schedule at the Spokane Indoor Challenge, Jan. 16-17. The Anteaters' season-opening meet will be contested at The Podium where they broke four school records last year.
Â
After a week off from competition, UC Irvine heads to Seattle for the UW Invitational, Jan. 30-31.
Â
UCI then makes back-to-back trips to Reno, Nevada, for the Wolf Pack Classic (Feb. 6-7), and the Battle Born Classic (Feb. 13-14). That is the final tune-up before the MPSF Championships, March 1-2, which will also be in Reno. All three meets are set to take place at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center, which opened its indoor track facility last year.
The NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships are slated for March 13-14 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
