How did you get started playing basketball?
I started when I was four years old because my parents played basketball. Both my mom and dad played professionally in France. I think my dad also played four years here at a university in Connecticut, so I followed them and now I'm here.
Â
Who has been your biggest inspiration?
Kobe. I wear 24 because of him. Kobe was my big inspiration because of the way he played and enjoyed the game.
Â
What has been your favorite basketball memory so far?
So far my favorite moment was when we won the conference last year, but I think to win a championship here is going to be better. I never really won something before so my biggest memories are just of playing with my teammates and enjoying the game.
 Â
What do you enjoy doing when you have some down time?
It's only been a couple months since I've been here, so right now, I enjoy going to the gym to shoot and just play basketball. I also like to go to the beach and enjoy the outside with my teammates.
Â
Why UC Irvine?
UC Irvine gave me the opportunity to come play here. It was a dream for me to play college basketball in the United States so I took my chance and said yes to the opportunity.
