Overbaugh ranks among the top-10 in program history, sitting in sixth in the 100m and 10th in the 200m, earning All-Big West honors in the 200m and 4x400 relay in 2021.
He is a Big West All-Academic selection and named to Big West Commissioner's Honor Roll as well as a 10-time Dean's List honoree.
Overbaugh was one of two student-athletes to garner the 2023 UCI Athletics Leadership award, that exemplifies the student-athletes that best engaged with other student-athletes and was involved with the campus community as well as the community surrounding the university.Â
The Big West, who honored nine athletes in 2023, has celebrated student-athletes for the Service and Leadership Award annually, since the 2017-18 academic year. The award winners are selected at the discretion of each member-institution with criteria encompassing service, leadership and academics.
Each member-institution may submit one honoree per academic year who participates in a Big West sponsored sport and who engages consistently in service and leadership activities that impact the campus, community or regional levels. The awardee makes the most of opportunities presented to them by taking on key roles and is innovative in seeking out meaningful service and leadership opportunities, while keeping their academic eligibility on their respective team.Â
