Noah Zamora and graduate student
Hiroki Sakagawa will represent UC Irvine men's tennis at the So Cal Intercollegiate Championships, Oct. 26-29.

The tournament will be held at USC's Marks Stadium, and is set to begin Thursday with qualifying singles. Action will continue Friday with the first two rounds of the main draw, while the quarterfinals and semifinals are slated for Saturday. The finals will be contested on Sunday.

This will be the third fall tournament for both Zamora and Sakagawa. Sakagawa earned a spot in the main draw and will start play in Friday's Round of 32. The University of Arizona transfer is 3-2 through his first two tournaments as an Anteater.

Zamora is in Thursday's qualifying draw. He earned a first-round bye and will face the winner of Kyle Sillman (SMU) and Heman Nama (Washington) at 3:45 p.m. Zamora combined to go 4-3 at the ITA All-American Championships and ITA Southwest Regional. He also joined forces with
Brandon Park to make an appearance in the doubles Round of 16 at the regional championships. Zamora is a two-time All-Big West selection in both singles and doubles, and was named the conference's freshman of the year in 2022.

After this weekend, UCI is set to close out its fall schedule at the LMU Invitational, Nov. 10-12.
