82 - UCI's frenetic scoring Thursday saw them put home four goals in a 3:20-span and three in 82 seconds at Bakersfield
4 - Tati Fung doubled her season output with her 4-assist match at Bakersfield while setting a UCI single-game record
11 - Erin Covey became the 104th Anteater to play 50 career matches Sunday making it 11 Anteaters this season to do it
40th - This season is the 40th anniversary of the start of Anteater soccer with the men's and women's teams beginning in 1984
#18 - For the second time in program history, the Anteaters finished the season in the top 25 at #18 in 2022 (#14 in 2010)
 
· The Anteaters clinched their Big West Championship berth with Sunday's draw. UCI has won the last two championships and have made 15 of the 22 tournaments all-time and six of the last seven. UC Irvine have earned points in four straight now with 13 Big West points. UCI can finish has high as fourth needing a win and a loss or draw from Long Beach State vs. Hawai'i. Any other combination of results will put UC Irvine as the 5-seed or 6-seed in Sunday's first round match
· UC Irvine's offense exploded Thursday in a 5-1 win which included the nation's fastest goals this season. UCI scored four times in a 3:20-span early in the second half with the first three goals coming with 82 seconds of each other and the final two goals of that coming 34 seconds apart, each by Desiree Mendoza. Tati Fung didn't score, but she registered a program record four assists in the match. Madison Goerlinger claimed her first goal, game-winner, and assist as an 'Eater all in the same match
· Glo Hinojosa posted her sixth shutout of the year and 27th all-time. She's searching for win No. 34 that would tie her for third in UCI history with Maddie Newsom.
· Gianna Creighton became the 11th Anteater with 80 career matches and just the fifth with 80 career starts on Sunday. She surpassed 7,000 career minutes in Thursday's match having played all but three minutes in 2023. Creighton is joined by Glo Hinojosa, Kiera Smeenge, Lilli Rask, Desiree Mendoza, Sophie Gillies, Alyssa Moore, Laila El Behery, Chloe Ragon, Suus de Bakker, and Erin Covey to all reach 50 career matches this season alone. The 11 'Eaters pushed the all-time total to 104 players to crack 50 career matches played in Anteater history.

Thursday vs. the Aggies - 7:00 PM
· UC Davis has plenty to play for Thursday entering third in the conference on 17 points. They have an outside chance to win the title should they win and Cal Poly and Fullerton fail to. The Aggies are 9-6-2 overall with one common opponent to UCI, each winning against Sac State. The all-time series is even with 11 wins to each side and five draws. The 'Eaters do have a losing record in Anteater Stadium, but took last year's Big West semifinal at a neutral site
· The Aggies' name of the game is defense allowing the least amount of goals in the conference overall, but stand second in scoring, third in shots, and first in offside. The three-headed threat of Leslie Fregoso (6 G, 4 A), Sam Tristan (5 G, 4 A), and Risa Yamada (4 G, 3 A) are tough to beat while Bella Mayo is coming off Big West Defensive Player of the Week honors on the backline.

Big West Championship
· The 22nd Big West Championship will begin Sunday with UCI still a chance to host its first round match should they win and LBSU lose or draw to Hawai'i. UCI is in it for the 15th time and the third straight year winning each of the last two. Their first round opponent could very well be this UC Davis squad again or someone in the LBSU vs. Hawai'i match. All five Big West matches will be played concurrently Thursday with the results and seeding known following.
· If the Anteaters advance past Sunday, the semifinal and final location is still up in there air with UC Davis an outside chance to host, but current leader Cal Poly the favorite or Cal State Fullerton just one point behind
