7,000 - Midfielder Gianna Creighton has played all but 3 minutes and is 85 minutes from hitting 7,000 for her career
236' - Glo Hinojosa's season-high 236-minute shutout streak keeps her on pace to be the 2nd 'Eater with 30 career shutouts
103 - 103 'Eaters have played 50 matches for the program with nine this year adding Chloe Ragon and Suus de Bakker Sunday
6 - 6 Anteater seniors were honored during the Senior Day celebration (Goerlinger, Rask, Mendoza, Smeenge, LeVine, Gillies)
#18 - For the second time in program history, the Anteaters finished the season in the top 25 at #18 in 2022 (#14 in 2010)
40th - This season is the 40th anniversary of the start of Anteater soccer with the men's and women's teams beginning in 1984
 

· UC Irvine earned four points last week to put them in a tie for the sixth Big West Championship berth. The top six earn berths with the top two earning first round byes.
· Aislynn Crowder started the goal scoring with a 44th-minute penalty Sunday. The goal is the first of her collegiate career and a game-winner. She also converted a shootout try in last year's NCAA Second Round match vs. Brown which UCI won, 4-2, on penalties. Alyssa Moore sealed the match and now has a third straight season with six goals scored
· Glo Hinojosa returned to goal Thursday and has yet to allowed a score teaming up with Savanna Arruda on the team's longest shutout streak of the year entering Thursday at 236. Hinojosa has 26 career shutouts, three from second in program history and four from becoming the second 'Eater along with coach Danielle de Seriere with 30 all-time
· Gianna Creighton's reached 70 career matches making her the 16th 'Eater to reach the mark, and she's entered UCI's top 10 at 78 now tying Tanya Taylor and Simone Ferrara. She enters Thursday 85 minutes played from reaching 7,000 in her career
· Creighton was joined by Glo Hinojosa, Kiera Smeenge, Lilli Rask, Desiree Mendoza, Sophie Gillies, Alyssa Moore, and from last week Laila El Behery, Chloe Ragon and Suus de Bakker to all reach 50 career matches this season alone. The nine Anteaters pushed the all-time total to 103 players to crack 50 career matches played in Anteater history

Thursday at the Roadrunners - 7:00 PM
· Thursday's match will be a battle of two squads tied for the final Big West Championship spot as UC Irvine heads to Cal State Bakersfield each with nine points. CSUB has played one more match picking up their Big West points on wins vs. LBSU and at UCSB and draws at UCSD and UC Riverside. They won just once in non-conference while they drew with Sac State and fell to DII Westmont, and have one win in six home matches. UCI is 2-0-1 all-time against CSUB.
· The 'Runners have allowed 28 goals while in the top half of the league in corners earned, fouls, and cards issued. Hollee Hercik in goal has shown up when it counted shutting out UCSB Sunday and stopping 11 shots to shutout LBSU. No player has more than two goals, but Hailey Russell, Jette Zimmer, and Karen Flores each have 24 or more shots and are ready to strike

Sunday at the Matadors - 2:00 PM
· CSUN's season has been a slog with just one win in 16 matches, one goal in their first eight matches, and six Big West points beating Bakersfield, 4-0, and drawing with two of the better sides in the conference, UC Davis and Fullerton. The 'Eaters have slim edge all-time, 12-11-4, having won four straight, but three wins in their last four at CSUN
· The Matadors struggle on the stat sheet with 10 goals to 32 allowed and near the bottom everywhere else. Hayden Mauldin has 89 saves to lead the Big West. Izabel Reyes has three goals, two assists, and the most shots for the Matadors with others like Ashley Cruz (2 G, 18 shots) and Pagie Califf (1 A, 19 shots) looking to break out in crunch time in the 2023 season
