AZUSA, Calif. - The UC Irvine men's track & field team closed out the Bryan Clay Invitational in the 1500m Friday night at Cougar Athletic Stadium.

Jacob Bustamante was third in his heat, crossing the finish line in a personal-record 3:57.58.
 
The Anteaters also had two throwers kick off the Beach Invitational Friday at Jack Rose Track. Liam Miksic took 10th out of 31 in the javelin with a toss of 195-11, while Quincy Stokes competed in the hammer throw (160-10).
 
UC Irvine returns to Jack Rose Track tomorrow for the second and final day of the Beach Invitational.
