Box Score SAN DIEGO, Calif. – UC Irvine women's tennis concluded the first day of ITA Southwest Regionals, Thursday in San Diego.

The day was highlighted by Jenna Schlatter who won her first match in the round of 128 main draw against UCSB's Amelia Honer, 1-6, 6-3, 7-6 (7). Schlatter advanced to the round of 64 and battled USC's Sloane Morra, falling 7-5, 6-0.

UCI's remaining players will compete in the consolation draw tomorrow. Each Anteater will play a single match. UCI's doubles teams will also compete tomorrow for one match each.
