Madison Riggs posted a top 10 finish to lead UC Irvine at The Gold Rush held at the Old Ranch Country Club.
Riggs ended the tournament tied for 10
th place, her best finish as an Anteater. The sophomore had a three-day total of 221 (72-72-77), carding 34 pars and nine birdies. Â

Sienna Lyford tied for 52nd with a score of 236 (75-83-78), while sophomore
Angela Bagasbas (81-78-81) and freshman
Megan Yang (79-78-83) were tied for 58
th with a 54-hole total of 240. Freshman
Olivia Canales ended in 67
th place at 247 (83-81-83).
UCI placed 11
th with a score of 935 (307-309-319). No. 38 Georgia was the only team under par with a score of 863, 21 shots ahead of second place Fresno State.
In a quick turnaround, UCI will travel to the Gunrock Invitational next Monday and Tuesday (Mar. 2-3) in Del Paso Country Club in Sacramento.
