SEAL BEACH, Calif. – Madison Riggs posted a top 10 finish to lead UC Irvine at The Gold Rush held at the Old Ranch Country Club.

Riggs ended the tournament tied for 10^th place, her best finish as an Anteater. The sophomore had a three-day total of 221 (72-72-77), carding 34 pars and nine birdies.  

Sophomore Sienna Lyford tied for 52nd with a score of 236 (75-83-78), while sophomore Angela Bagasbas (81-78-81) and freshman Megan Yang (79-78-83) were tied for 58^th with a 54-hole total of 240. Freshman Olivia Canales ended in 67^th place at 247 (83-81-83).

UCI placed 11^th with a score of 935 (307-309-319). No. 38 Georgia was the only team under par with a score of 863, 21 shots ahead of second place Fresno State.

In a quick turnaround, UCI will travel to the Gunrock Invitational next Monday and Tuesday (Mar. 2-3) in Del Paso Country Club in Sacramento.
