RANCHO SANTA FE, Calif. -- UC Irvine dropped a pair of matches on the first day of the Lamkin Invitational held at The Farms Golf Club.

No. 48 San Diego State won the first match 4-1-0 with Angela Bagasbas beating Ella Adams, 1up.

In the second match of the day, Cameron Lee (1 up) and Sienna Lyford (3&1) won their matches, but UCI fell to No. 54 Colorado 3-2-0.

The Anteaters will face No. 57 BYU Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. off  the 10th tee.
