UC Irvine Athletics Hall Of Fame To Be Reinstated In 2020

IRVINE, Calif. -- After a 12-year hiatus, UC Irvine Athletics will reinstate the Hall of Fame in 2020.

A new class of inductees will be honored at an event on February 1, 2020 prior to the men's basketball game against Cal State Fullerton.

Fans are invited to nominate former student-athletes, coaches and administrators HERE. Nominations will be accepted until October 25, 2019.

The UCI Athletics Hall of Fame began in 1983 and has 69 inductees over 16 different sports. Four individuals have also received the Alumnus of Merit Award, which was previously announced in conjunction with the Hall of Fame.
