RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The UC Irvine men's cross country team produced four individual season bests Saturday at the UC Riverside Invitational. The 8000-meter race was held at UCR Ag/Ops Course, which the 'Eaters will return to later this year for the Highlander Invitational (Oct. 19) and the Big West Championships (Nov. 2).
"The men fought tough as they were running on some very tired legs today," said UCI distance coach
Casey Kear. "All of the returnees were ahead of their time from this meet last year. With the training load I have put on them, I expect to return in November and run the same course with dramatically faster times."
