AZUSA, Calif. - Freshman Sebastian Bautista kicked off the week for the UC Irvine men's track & field team at the Bryan Clay Invitational Wednesday evening at Azusa Pacific's Cougar Stadium.
 
Bautista competed in the 10000m, placing 12th out of 24 in Heat 2. He crossed the finish line in 31:50.99.
 
UC Irvine's distance runners return to Azusa for Day 2 of the Bryan Clay Invitational tomorrow, while a handful of 'Eaters will also make their way to Long Beach for the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate.
