IRVINE, Calif. – The UC Irvine men's tennis team continued its impressive home stand with a 6-1 win over Eastern Washington Thursday afternoon at Anteater Tennis Stadium.

The 'Eaters (11-4) claimed the doubles point before taking five of six singles matches. EWU fell to 3-10 on the year.

> UCI grabbed doubles wins at Nos. 2-3
> Sasha Krasnov and Mason Hansen defeated Wout Doumen/Jeremy Mueller, 6-0, at No. 3
> Luis Lopez and Bruce Man-Son-Hing clinched the point with a 7-6 win on court two
> In singles, three of the six matches went in to three sets
> Daniel Gealer defeated Doumen in straight sets, 6-0, 6-3, at No.5 five while Hansen also earned a straight set victory at No. 3, 6-2, 6-3
> Smolicki grabbed a 7-5, 6-3 win over Matin Bats at No. 4
> Sasha Krasnov pulled out a 4-6, 6-2, 10-4 win at No. 2 over EWU's Mikayel Khachatryan
> Aaron Bailey earned a win on court six, 6-3, 3-6, 10-6
