IRVINE, Calif. --- UC Irvine announced Wednesday an expanded presence on Instagram with the introduction of more Instagram channels covering seven programs to compliment the current @UCIAthletics account.

The expansion to these sports opens UCI Athletics to more of the younger demographics while bringing all Anteater fans closer to each program visually providing greater storytelling opportunities at the team level.

The first programs to join the enhanced coverage are men's and women's basketball, men's and women's volleyball, men's and women's soccer, and baseball.

Fans can expect content that builds off what they see daily on ucirvinesports.com in addition to the Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube avenues such as real-time game updates, highlights, recaps, road take-overs, and feature pieces.
