Results

RIVERSIDE, Calif. -
The UC Irvine women's cross country team finished seventh out of 22 teams at the Highlander Invitational Saturday morning at the UCR Agricultural Operations Course.

The Anteaters had three individuals finish among the top-50. Freshman Natalie Ewe led the way in 27th place as she covered the 5000-meter course in a personal-record 17:57.70. Ewe saw an improvement of over a minute from her first 5K of the season on Sept. 1 (19:05.8).

"Natalie had a great race today," UCI distance coach Chris Evans said. "She really moved up throughout the entire distance and had a great finish. Once again, our pack was tight and close. We just have to finish higher as a group to take that next step at conference."
