IRVINE, Calif. - The UC Irvine men's track & field team kicked off the Adidas/Steve Scott Invitational with three events Friday at Anteater Stadium.

He was also the collegiate runner-up behind only the current Big West leader Robert Marlow from Long Beach State. Seawright threw for 186-07 on his second attempt in Flight 2, which was good enough to put him through to the finals.

Seawright then topped that mark on each of his next three attempts and closed out the competition with his best toss of the day at 198-00.

Junior Jon Dickinson was also second in Flight 1 and 11th overall (165-02).
