IRVINE, Calif. -- All-American Mary Brooks led the Anteaters with three goals in a win over No. 11 UC Santa Barbara to earn Big West Women's Water Polo Player of the Week honors.

It is the second time this season Brooks has won the award and third of her career. 

The junior recorded her fifth straight multi-goal game and has at least one goal in six consecutive contests.

She leads UCI in goals with 49, which ranks her No. 18 in UCI's single-season record book.

UCI improved to 18-6 on the year and remained undefeated in Big West play at 3-0.  The Anteaters have won nine straight games, tying the school record set in 2012.

No. 6 UC Irvine will host No. 13 UC Davis Saturday at noon at the Anteater Aquatic Complex.
